This Premium 9mm Tongue and Groove MDF panel measures 1200mm by 600mm, covering 0.72m² per board. It utilizes T&G joints along its edges to eliminate the need for fixings, thereby maintaining the acoustic integrity of your chosen acoustic underlay or panel.

Installation Guidelines
When used in conjunction with Acoustilay, it is recommended to follow applicable guidelines for laminate, vinyl, and carpet tile installations. Substitute standard options with the thicker timber-based board for optimal performance.
The 9mm T&G MDF is the minimum recommended thickness, and all joints are staggered for enhanced stability. Prior to installation, ensure that the floor is level, clean, and dry.

Installation Tips
The MDF boards should be bonded to the chosen underlay using an appropriate adhesive, and to each other using PVA adhesive on the tongue and groove joint. Ensure that any joint is a minimum of 50mm away from any underlay joint. An isolation gap of 5-10mm should be maintained between the wall and the MDF to prevent sound transmission into the structure. This gap should be filled with acoustic sealant.
