Silent Cloud acoustic underlays and soundproof mats are premium dense recycled rubber systems engineered to tackle impact and airborne noise in multi‑storey buildings. Manufactured from recycled rubber at approximately 950 kg/m³, they provide significant mass for sound isolation without excessive thickness. Available in 3 mm and 6 mm variants to balance performance and floor height, these underlays reduce footfall noise and absorb airborne sound when installed under floating laminates, luxury vinyl tiles, engineered wood and even tile or screed floors. They decouple the finished floor from the subfloor, helping to meet or exceed UK Part E Building Regulations while contributing to LEED and BREEAM green building credits. Use them in apartments, offices, studios or any space requiring improved impact and airborne noise control, and combine with perimeter isolation strips and floating floor systems for optimum performance.
