SilentCloud was founded by engineers and material scientists who have spent decades researching the science of sound. Working closely with universities and acoustic laboratories, we continuously refine our products to deliver superior impact sound insulation. Our flagship SilentCloud 3 mm Premium Acoustic Underlayment is manufactured from 94 % recycled rubber and provides up to 54 dB of impact sound reduction under laminate, engineered wood, carpet and tile floors.

Our acoustic underlays isolate vibrations before they can become airborne noise. They absorb the energy from footfall and separate the finished floor from the subfloor, preventing sound bridges that allow noise to travel. Because our materials are low-VOC and free of harmful fibres, SilentCloud products are both sustainable and safe for indoor air quality.
