SilentCloud™ Acoustic Deck Pro 28 is a high-mass acoustic floating floorboard system developed specifically to improve both airborne and impact sound performance in lightweight existing floor constructions—where standard acoustic overlays often improve impact noise but do not reliably increase airborne performance.

By adding significant cementitious mass to a lightweight floor and combining it with a resilient isolation layer, SilentCloud™ Acoustic Deck Pro 28 delivers consistent acoustic improvement suitable for refurbishment, change of use, and new-build applications.

Construction

SilentCloud™ Acoustic Deck Pro 28 comprises:

• 18mm tongued-and-grooved cement particle board

• 10mm resilient felt layer

• Total thickness: 28mm

When installed over a suitable floor structure with an appropriate ceiling treatment and all flanking paths controlled:

• Impact (L’nT,w): up to 56 dB

• Airborne (DnT,w): up to 61 dB

• Airborne (DnT,w + Ctr): up to 57 dB

Laboratory/installed system results. Performance depends on the full floor build-up and installation quality.

SilentCloud™ Acoustic Deck Pro 28 should be laid:

• With all T&G joints glued using the system cementitious acoustic adhesive

• With perimeters isolated and sealed using perimeter acoustic seal / flanking strips to prevent flanking transmission
