Premium 6mm Resilient Underlay is a fully recycled rubber designed for use with both soft and hard flooring, such as Engineered Timber, Laminate, Stone Flooring, and Carpet. It is commonly used as an underscreed solution for new build concrete apartments, flats, and hotels.
This underlay acts as an isolating rubber material to de-couple the structure from the floating screed. It can be used as an acoustic underscreed material for new build construction, laid over the concrete floor with a flanking strip around the perimeter before the screed is poured over it.
This product serves as a cost-effective alternative for developers building new apartments who are not enrolled in robust details. It is designed to absorb footfall noise and improve living standards for both Residential and Commercial applications.
The material has a zero Ozone Depleting Potential (OPD) and zero Global Warming Potential (GWP). The specially selected rubber particles and fibers give excellent resilience while maintaining top compressive strength. The Premium 6mm Resilient Underlay offers excellent impact noise performance levels on concrete and timber floors.
