Application Instructions
To ensure the best results, please follow these application instructions:
- Ensure the surface is properly sanded with a maximum wood moisture content of 12%.
- The floor must be dry and free from any old coatings, oil, grease, wax, silicone, sanding dust, and other contaminants.
- Ideal room temperature: +15°C to +25°C, with relative humidity between 40% to 75%. Material temperature should be +18°C to +25°C.
- Ensure the working area is adequately ventilated.
- Transfer material to a suitable varnish bucket before applying.
- The product is ready for use and must not be diluted.
Application Tools and Rates
- Using a roller Universal 100: 100-120 ml/m² (8-10 m²/L).
- Using a Microfaser roller: 80-100 ml/m² (10-12 m²/L).
- Using a trowel: 1st application approximately 40 ml/m² (25 m²/L), 2nd application approximately 20 ml/m² (50 m²/L).
- Do not intermediate sand the primer. If sufficient layer thickness is achieved (roller application on poorly absorbent substrates), the surface can be worked over with a single-disc machine and a suitable maroon pad underneath. Remove dust before overcoating.
Drying Time
- The earliest the floor can be varnished over after roller applications is approximately 60 minutes.
