This self-adhesive foam/rubber tape facilitates easy installation and enhances acoustic performance in stud wall construction.

Utilized to isolate sole and header plates of timber/metal stud walls or at the perimeter junctions of the SilentCloud Wall System, this tape effectively isolates chipboard, plywood, or original floorboards from structural timber joists.

The SilentCloud Self Adhesive Isolation Tape is available in 10m rolls with widths of 50mm and 100mm, boasting an approximate thickness of 8mm.

Installation

The perimeter of the floor must be isolated from the walls using the SilentCloud Self Adhesive Isolation Tape. The strip is placed over the surface of the flooring, and the skirting is fitted neatly on top of the strip before trimming with a sharp blade.
