- Lay the SilentCloud 32 in a broken bond pattern, using Silent-10 Joist Strips directly over joists.
- Glue all tongue and groove joints using Silent-Bond Panel Adhesive.
- Leave a 10-15mm expansion gap around perimeters, using Silent-Seal 20 Perimeter Seal.
- Use Silent-RD Flanking Strip for acoustic isolation or perimeter detail per Robust Detail instructions.
- Use Silent-Grommet Fixing Isolators sparingly at door thresholds or access hatches.
- Avoid using fixings that may restrict the floating floor.
- Fit skirting a few millimeters clear of the floor surface.
