SilentScreed™ Panel 18 is a versatile acoustic insulated overlay board designed for soundproofing and insulating separating floors, with a primary focus on impact sound reduction.
It is specifically intended for use where an 18 mm overlay solution is required to improve acoustic performance while maintaining a low floor build-up, making it suitable for a wide range of residential, commercial, and specialist applications.

Installation
• Lay boards in a conventional broken-bond pattern
• When installing directly over joists, staple SilentCloud-10 Joist Strips to the joist tops before application
• Glue all tongue-and-groove joints using SilentCloud-Bond Panel Adhesive
• Leave a 10–15 mm expansion gap around all perimeters
• Seal perimeters using SilentCloud-Seal 20 Perimeter Seal or follow Robust Detail instructions

Installation Tips
• Boards may be laid over concrete, timber decks, or joists
• Maintain expansion gaps at all perimeters
• Seal joints and perimeters to prevent acoustic flanking
• Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level prior to installation
