Acoustic Putty Pads

Intumescent Putty Pads, crafted from a flexible, non-setting red silicone-based intumescent polymer, exhibit enduring properties. They maintain flexibility without hardening, cracking, or drying out over time.

Activated at temperatures of 200°C, these pads employ intumescent properties, restricting fire and smoke passage. When used on external sockets, Intumescent Putty Pads offer a rapid, effective, and clean method to attain necessary fire and acoustic ratings, complying with the 2006 edition of Building Regulations, approved document part E and B, sections 7 and 7.12 b.

Installation Steps:

1. Remove the faceplate from the electrical socket box.
2. Cut the pads to fit accurately.
3. Mold the putty pads into the back of the box and around the cables.
4. Trim any excess with a sharp knife.
5. Replace and secure faceplates easily.
